About me

I started creating these creatures in 2008 while on a road trip from Seattle to Pensacola.

Along the way we'd stay with friends and as a way of saying thanks I would make a print and leave it for them.

The block prints were originally made with a little proof press - it looks like a bigger version of the old credit card machines that slid across the top of the card.

As I created more characters I started framing up the prints and selling them out of my sister's restaurants in Seattle.

Everything is handmade in my studio which is located in Nevada City, California.
