The General Consensus Show • 2016
I have been working on a TV show character over the last few months. Here is an episode!

Don't miss out on your chance to support your favorite artist CHRiS DaCRe™.

Donate to receive a share or two and help to sustain my studio practice.

For each share you own you will be receiving random packets filled with artwork - prints, stickers and other surprises!

All proceeds will filter back into my studio practice. ie. studio rent, supplies for upcoming projects etc.

1 share   = $25 = 1 packet of art.
2 shares = $50 = 2 packets of art, etc...

The more shares you buy, the more random art packets you will receive throughout the next year.

I promise it will be worth it!

Some shots of the recent collaborative installation that Tomiko Jones and I created for a group exhibition at the
Center for Visual Arts in Denver. 9 video projections, 26 minute audio loop, 50 Target Drone Kites and a Queen-size
bed. Based on the current controversial issue of surveillance. We shot fairly banal footage while traveling recently
through France, Spain and Portugal focusing on people that were unaware of them being surveilled by us. Field recordings
were done in the same way often catching snippets of conversations or street performers. The audio tracks were layered
together as a collage is made from scraps of paper. Tranquility and anxiety play their part in the experience of
"You Get What You Pay For."

The tank is a relief print. 40 are printed so far. Dimensions: 4 x 1.5 inches.

September 2013: A few images from the Visiting Artist stint I did with the Printmaking Department at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
In addition to an exhibition the art gallery, there was also a two day workshop making Target Kites. Originally the kites had silhouettes of enemy WWII
aircraft, I updated mine with the silhouettes of the drones that are currently used by the US Military. In the end there were over a 100 kites made.
Special thanks to the OU crew that helped make the workshop/exhibition happen!

Workshop that I did with Prof. Jenny Angus and her textile class at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, this past January {2013}.
We printed a ton of fabric using student pattern designs of my artwork. The fabric is slowly making its way into my installation(s).
